Your Voice, Your Resolution - Empowering Solutions through Mediation

BIMF is the first forum between the neighboring nations promoted by legal experts to promote peaceful relationship by Alternate (Additional) Dispute Resolution Mechanism (ADR) for mutual resolution for cross border conflicts, water sharing disputes, land and maritime boundary disputes, geopolitical disputes, human rights conflicts, medico-legal conflicts, techno-commercial and contractual disputes.

Our Vision

To Nurture peaceful society by promoting Mediation as preferred mode for dispute resolution at all sectors of the society. To provide a safe environment to educate, empower and facilitate creative thinking to foster amicable resolution of disputes and easy access to justice with trained mediators.

Services

We provide ADR services across the spectrum of dispute resolution 

* BIMF offers ADR resolution process in which a trained, neutral mediator, subject expert helps people explore and resolve their differences together - Your Voice Your Resolution 
* BIMF strives to produce a settlement agreement that is acceptable to both parties - Empowering Solutions through Mediation. 
* BIMF offers specific and generic training for corporates and business houses.
* BIMF offers online ADR consultation and resolution mechanism

1. Membership shall be based on invitation for Fellows, Accredited Mediators / Certified Mediators with minimum 10 years’ experience in mediation or conciliation or arbitration; 

2. All persons above the age of 21 years having legal training or law degree or vocational credentials and not being convicted of any offence involving crime of moral turpitude, not adjudged as insolvent and paying the annual or life membership fees are eligible to become members or remain its office bearers. The members shall require approval from Standing Committee on membership. No person shall be deemed to be a member or be entitled to exercise the rights and privileges of a member unless he / she has signed the Membership Roll; 

3. All members are required to demonstrate high standards of training both in legal and Mediation process as counsel and as Mediator;

4. All members are required to demonstrate support for the purpose of this organization;

5. Membership decisions will not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, disability, age, medical condition, ancestry, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, or status.; and

6. All members are required to pay a sum of 2000 Indian Rupees annual membership fee or 6000 Indian Rupees as Lifetime membership prior to taking part in any organization activity. Members shall notify his / her new address, but if the member fails to notify his new address, the address as registered shall be deemed to be his / her correct address.

Training

BIMF in collaboration and association with BIMS is dedicated to promoting the practice of ADR and dispute resolution through affordable, quality and accessible education for legal students, advocates, legal professionals, technical and subject experts and thereof offer Continuous Professional Development Program to keep the professionals updated in ADR techniques and process. BIMF offers structured and tailor made programs and course on regular basis. BIMF provides structured 20 hours, 40 hours and 60 hours training for accreditation certification in ADR.
